My favorite movie Forrest Gump

I love to see movies. The most favorite one is Forrest Gump. It tells a story about Forrest's legend life: how does he grow up, his friendship with Jenny and comrade in arms "Bubba", his mother how to love him and educate him and his experiences in the army and Vietnam War. In this film, we can see many beautiful landscapes of Alabama, Forrest's hometown, which is located in the southeast part of the United States. We can see some famous person and important historic moments or incidents appeared in the film, such as rock singer Elvis Presley, John Lennon, President Kennedy, Vietnam War, Water Gate Scandal, etc. So the Library of Congress selected this film as "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant" ("2011 National Film," 2011). It causes you to think deeply after you saw this film: what is pure friendship? how do we face the unfairness and ridicule from those prejudiced people? what is trust and brotherhood among comrades-in-arms? what is promise? what is war -- justice or aggression? what is true love? and what is life? The author of this film wanted to express his ideas about the complex world. Just as there are a thousand Hamlets in a thousand people's eyes, the author did not tell you the answers of these questions, but you can have your own thinking. No one can give us the answer of life. Just like Forrest's mom once told him, "Life was like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get" (Forrest Gump, 2006). You need to find what life is by yourself.
